Toast it up with some bear tostadas! So many ways to grill, smoke & cook just about anything using the Carolina Cooker® Kamado Grill. Chef Chad uses our vinegar based Eastern NC BBQ sauce to marinade this wild game protein, then shows you how to cook it to perfection. Great recipe idea from @Carolina ALL OUT that can also be used for beef tips, steak or even pork chops on the grill.
Ingredients
1.5lbs Bear Meat, cut into strips *Can substitute flank or skirt steak
2 cups Carolina Cooker Eastern Carolina BBQ
1 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Black Pepper
Tortillas, to serve
Directions
Step 01:
In a large zip lock bag add the bear, salt, pepper, and BBQ sauce. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6-8 hrs. Preheat a grill to high heat.
Step 02:
Once marinated, remove the bear and grill till internal temp reaches 175F.
Step 03:
Toast the tortillas on the grill, approximately 1-2 minutes on each side.
Step 04:
Place the grilled bear on the tortilla, serve with your choice of toppings.
