Skillet Fudge Brownie
Made with real cocoa powder and chocolate chips, these homemade brownies are fudgy, gooey, super chocolaty and guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser! Ingredients
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted (plus more for greasing skillet)
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs (at room temperature)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips, chunks or nuts (plus more for topping)
Directions
Step 01:
Preheat the oven to 350° degrees
Step 02:
Grease a 10.5" skillet with butter
Step 03:
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt
Step 04:
Add the eggs one at a time, whisking to incorporate between each egg
Step 05:
Fold in the flour and chocolate chips just until the flour is combined
Step 06:
Pour the batter into the greased skillet, smoothing out into an even layer
Step 07:
Sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top for extra flavor
Step 08:
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the center is just set
Step 09:
Remove the skillet from the oven, then top the brownie with ice cream and serve immediately
